About my painting "Tokyo"
Recently I thought about the environment where I am
living because sometimes I had the opportunity to
talk about Tokyo. I wanted to visualize this blended
city in novelty and antiquity where the environment
was sometimes destroyed and protected. The old things
are broken and new things are born in this city but
I tried to express respect and prestige for the
old things in this work.
The city is multifaceted and is like a big creature
created by people’s lives. So this picture was created
with some wooden chips on the screen so that the viewer
could see the work in a multifaceted manner.
The city is always full of potential but at the same
time harming the land.
